I went to the CDC and I said, well, show me the percentage of people, Americans taking SSRIs over that same period. For depression, anxiety, et cetera, and what you see that it's also gone up. And then the last chart, I went to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics and I said, what has happened to the labor participation rate over the same period?
I think it's going to ruin social existence... The constant distraction is just horrific. And it's having a horrible impact on this generation.
Maybe it correlates with prescription of SSRIs. ... Maybe it correlates with schools going totally woke and bananas. I correlates with a lot of things.
It turns out students who used iPads and digital media many times a day, they show the exact signs of ADHD, inattention and hyperactivity and impulsivity.
And I just want to say that in general, as a parent, whether the app is banned or not, who cares? My lived experience right now is that video games and these apps are horrible for kids.
Not to say that it's not going to be a revenue generator, but I think that you could just as easily, frankly, instead of impacting Apple's revenues, you can probably go along the makers of SSRIs, pot, here comes a spread trade, pot, Bumble and Tinder, and you'll get to the same place economically.
